We are honored to welcome Hailie Mace, a professional soccer player from Ventura, California, as our newest sports influencer. Hailie currently plays for North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League. We had the pleasure of sitting down and getting to know Hailie, let's see what she had to say!

Q. For those of us who don’t know you, who is Hailie? 

A. I am a professional soccer player, born and raised in Ventura, California. 

Q. What does being a Nuzest sports influencer mean to you?

A. It means I have the opportunity to use an amazing and clean product that will help me reach my goals. It also means that I get to show all of my followers how great the products are and maybe if they see how much it helps me be the best athlete I can be, they will want to use it as well. 

Q. How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?

A. I make healthy choices because I actually enjoy eating healthy and I like the way it makes me feel. I think you can have a good balance though and also enjoy foods that are not as healthy for you. 

Q. What is your favorite indulgence?

A. Ice cream.

Q. What is your favorite healthy snack?

A. Rice cakes with peanut butter or greek yogurt with granola and frozen berries.

Q. How do you stay active and fit?

A. My career keeps me very fit, but I like to go to the gym or ride a bike.

Q. What is your favorite form of exercise?

A. I enjoy playing other sports when I can, especially in the offseason when I am sick of running. But i do enjoy doing sprint work or going to the gym and getting a good lift in. 

Q. Aside from being a soccer superstar, what do you do for fun?

A. I love coffee, so i enjoy getting coffee with friends or playing games with my teammates like bananagrams or card games. I also like to play beach volleyball when I am at home. 

Q. What advice do you have for people wanting to kick-start a healthy lifestyle or to pump up their nutrition?

A. I would say that the beginning is going to be tough, but i promise it will be worth it in the end. You will feel so much more energized and happy with yourself if you have a healthy lifestyle!
