Join us in welcoming Rashid Nuhu to the Nuzest family. Rashid is a professional soccer player from Ghana, currently playing for Union Omaha in USL League One. We had the pleasure of sitting down and getting to know Rashid, here's what he had to say!

Q. For those of us who don’t know you, who is Rashid?

A. My name is Rashid Nuhu, I am from Ghana. I moved to the United States in 2011 to continue my education and soccer. I got a scholarship to attend Kent School, which is a prep school in Connecticut, then got an athletic scholarship to attend Fordham University in New York. After my years at Fordham, I was fortunate to be drafted by the New York Redbulls in 2019 and that's where my professional career started and currently playing with Union Omaha. 

Q. What does being a Nuzest sports influencer mean to you?

A. Being a Nuzest sports influencer means a lot to me and I am very happy to be part of the team. I have always wanted to be in the best shape possible to continue doing what I love which is playing soccer and when I say playing soccer, I mean being healthy and making sure I'm always fresh and being on the field to enhance my performance.

Q. How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?

A. By trying to consume protein and carbs from protein shakes and protein bars because there are a lot of temptations when it comes to food.

Q. What is your favorite indulgence?

A. Being a good role model and being kind and helping others.

Q. What is your favorite healthy snack?

A. Fruits 

Q. How do you stay active and fit?

A. By exercising. 

Q. What is your favorite form of exercise?

A. My favorite form of exercise will be playing soccer and also going to the gym.

Q. Aside from being a soccer superstar, what do you do for fun?

A. I like sightseeing, going to new places, and I like to cook.

Q. What advice do you have for people wanting to kick-start a healthy lifestyle or to pump up their nutrition?

A. I would like to tell people to do more research on it and find the best way to do it and when you do that you just have to stick to it because results come gradually.
